After spending fifteen years in the IT industry, Richard trained as an actor at ArtEd in London. His acting career was varied, to say the least. Highlights would be a glorious summer performing at the Open Air Theatre in Regent's Park. Lowlights include a performance cancelled at the interval because all the audience (well 3 of them) had decided to go home!
Richard now spends his spare time keeping slugs away from his vegetables and staying one step ahead of his murderous chickens.
Richard is a qualified Galloway & Southern Ayrshire Biosphere Guide and a qualified Leave No Trace practitioner. He also has up-to-date qualifications in Outdoor First Aid.
